How to Live like a Renaissance Princess
Yearn in your ivory castle
Drink sweet wine, eat homemade bread and berries
Read, read, read & get lost in it
Play card or dice games, simple games
Go wander, not a walk a wander. Wander around the meadows, the hills, the forest, the wilderness.
Collect wild flowers, plants, pretty stones, etc.
Walk around with your ladies, discuss silly or deep matters with your friends
Have high tea including little sweet treats
Yearn (outside, inside, anywhere)
Let one of your closest maids intimately braid your hair
Fight your parents about your arranged marriage to a handsome French marquis
Go to a ball (the club?) all dressed up
Dance dance dance, so beautifully like a wisp, like a faerie
Ride in the back of a car(riage) and enjoy the sights
Sleep in, sleep early
Watch the weekly burning of condemned heretics from your balcony!
Bask in the sun
People-watch
Admire yourself in the reflection of a sword
Speak with your subjects
Enjoy the company of animals (domesticated or not)... bonus: speak/sing to them
Write poetry, write fairytales, write songs, etc.
Engage in some casual (exhilarating) gossip
Have a long herbal bath
Live by candlelight
Appreciate the setting sun and the rising dawn
Use bells to sound for meals or at special times
Listen to renaissance music, lyre, harpsichord, baroque church hymns if you must
